LVMS Beginner Band Receives Superior Rating

The LVMS Beginner Band competed at the Pride of Texas Music Competition on Wednesday of this week and received a Superior Rating from the judges! Way to go band!

District Tennis

Congratulations to all participants at the District Tennis tournament. We had 46 players representing LVMS at the District Tennis Tournament! It was a single elimination tournament against 5 other school districts.

Eight students participated at the UIL Solo and Ensemble Contest at Liberty Hill High School (April 13, 2019) and all 8 students received “Superior” ratings, the highest rating achievable by performers.

LVHS BAND-IT WAS THEIR ONE PRIORITY!

Congrats to the LVHS band for receiving straight 1's in the UIL Concert Band competition! The best ranking a band can receive is 1, and they got it in all three categories! Congrats to our awesome 8th graders who play with the band...you all sounded amazing!

V.A.S.E.

Middle School students attended their very first Jr. V.A.S.E. regional art competition this weekend (April 6, 2019). Out of the 11 students that participated, 9 received top scores and 2 with perfect rankings. What an excellent showing of their talent and skill.

Lago Vista Track Meet

We hosted 11 track teams at our 5th annual Lago Vista Relays track meet on Wednesday, March 13th.
Below you will find the highlights of the meet for the 8th and 7th grade track teams or click here for a detailed list of individual athletes!

The 8th grade girls WON the meet with 247 points.

Our 7th grade girls earned 2nd place in the track meet scoring a total of 119.5 points

The 8th grade boys came in 2nd place overall in the meet with a total of 148.5 points.

The 7th grade boys came in 2nd place with a total of 162.5 points.

UIL District Champions

LVMS came in 2nd overall in our UIL Meet on January 25th. All UIL participants will be honored on February 20th during lunch. Parents are more than welcome to attend! It will start at 11:40. Below are District Champs by grade level.

The 7th and 8th boys and girls cross country teams travelled to Jarrell on Monday, October 8th to compete at the district cross country race. Please take a moment to congratulate these wonderful young men and women. They competed with heart, determination, and grit.
